I’m just posting it because I loved the project’s name: Urbanana. This urban farming project will be in the middle of Paris anytime soon. A see-through green house was designed by SOA Architect to be a vertical banana plantation aiming to make this tropical fruits more accessible in Europe.

Thinking of starting your own urban farm? Well, those guys (ladies, actually) can help you out – Victory Gardens is a team of urban farmers for hire who can create your residential or commercial space for food production. Aiming to unify people within their communities for a common goal, Lisa, Sam and Sandra are challenging the way our city uses space through urban farming. If you live in Vancouver, you may join their upcoming workshops:

Container Garden Workshop will teach how to grow tomatoes on June 9th, from 9:30 – 11:00am. Each participant will walk away with a handmade cedar box planted with tomato and basil.
