Repairing things is, nowadays, very “retro”. People just buy a new one. But the Repair Café, now a worldwide silently protesting against the planned obsolescence. They have all necessary tools to fix clothes, electrical appliances, bikes, furniture, etc and also repair specialists such as electricians, seamstresses, carpenters and bicycle mechanic. The great and innovative idea aims to teach people “to see their possessions in a new light.” and realizing all the perks of repairing their own things.

This is a great initiative to help us to reconsider the way we consume and relate to consumer goods. Since its beginning, the Repair Café has prevented a 3,200kg of wast around the globe.
