Bicycle use as means of transport has grown 300% in greater Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is currently estimated that 200.000 people use bikes as daily commute only in the Wonderful City. The recent bike sharing system started succesful, with 500,000 trips made only in April. Also, Rio has the largest cycling network in Brazil, with 270 km of bike lanes. Looks like brazilian are tired of traffic too, hope to see this trend growing massive around here \o/
