Developed by the argetine industrial designer Nicolás Chacana, the vehicle should solve two of the biggest issues for the emerging countries by 2030: the contamination of water and the invasion of agricultural land by the biofuels industry.
Those “mini vans” are able to filter water up to the drinkable level from almost any natural water source, such as lakes and rivers by implementing carbon nanotubes technology. It also provides the possibility to produce food by using hydroponic modules, avoiding rural flights by economically disadvantaged families.
Details about performance, costs and logistics were not disclosed yet.
