Nissan has scaled it up for use in their Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) electric car.

A recent consumer research revealed that 61% of potential electric car customers were most worried about the inconvenience of recharging: now, battery will refill to 80% of its capacity, in about 25 minutes.

Leather and Environment

A couple months ago, the greatest website applied for the green lifestyle has made an article about the production of leather and how the process works.

It’s good to read about it. The leather itself wouldn’t be as bad as PETA claims, but the whole chemical cocktail makes huge damages do the environment.

As I’m a fashion lover, i’ll repeat my muse phrase: “Using leather is a bit caveman.” (Stella McCartney). I guess she’s right….

P.S.: the blond muse Johanson in the pic is wearing eco-chic stuffs.

I’m a real Starbucks lover. And happy to hear that they’re now joining my world.

See, last thursday they announced that the company aims to earn LEED certification on all new company-owned stores beginning in 2010. LEED means: Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
starbucks The goals for all new company-owned stores are that 50 percent of each store’s energy be derived from renewable sources, and that they will be 25 percent more energy efficient. The company has set long-term goals including replacing all stores’ incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs and ensuring 100 percents of its cup supply is reusable or recyclable by 2015.
